Honey’s Mini Therapy Adventures is a small 501c3 organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being of those in need. Our on-site services using miniature horses provide comfort and support to individuals experiencing discomfort, hurt, stress, or pain. Through these services, Honey’s Mini Therapy Adventures positively impacts the lives of those we serve. As we continue to expand, we are reaching out to organizations in the area to see if there is a need for our services. Our tiny horses have been proven to have a positive impact on everyone in their path, and we would be honored to bring them to your facility.
We regularly visit local hospitals, mental and behavioral health facilities, nursing homes, local schools, and college campuses such as the University of South Florida, the University of Tampa, the University of Central Florida, Pasco Hernando State College, and Saint Leo University, and we invite you to experience the unique and effective services that our miniature horses provide. Our tiny horses have been proven to have a positive impact on the physical, social, and emotional lives of patients and staff across Central Florida, and we would be honored to bring our therapy horses to your facility.
We understand that budgets can be tight, and as a non-profit organization we also have our own expenses that we need to continue to operate and provide our service. We do charge for our services, which we refer to as a “Honey Visit” to cover the costs of animal care, transportation, and operational expenses. Our rate is $250 for a visit, and we believe that our therapy horses can provide a unique and valuable experience for your patients, clients, students, or residents. If it is a special event the charge is $550. If the visit is over an hour away from there is a fuel charge of $25. If the visit or event requires an extra horse it is an additional $125 We are willing to work with your facility to find a solution that works for both of us. If you are unable to cover the cost of our services, we suggest looking into finding sponsorship for a Honey visit within your own network to help fund the visit. We are actively working to obtain sponsorship, donations, and grants to continue our program from year to year.
